Dear Fox Hollow Families, Students, and Staff,
I am very humbled and honored to introduce myself as the Principal of Fox Hollow Elementary. I have been dedicated to the field of education for 15 years. I have had the privilege to work at many Pasco County Schools supporting the needs of students ranging from Pre-K to High School. My most recent administrative experience was at Anclote Elementary as their Assistant Principal. I am excited and eager to bring my skill as an educational leader to Fox Hollow.
Along with the teacher and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by FHES by building strong relationships with teachers, parents, students, and community partners. We will continue to focus on building strong leaders, using data to drive instruction and to provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so we can continue to increase all students’ achievement.
In addition to my role as an educator, I am first and foremost a wife and mother. My husband, daughter and I were born and raised in Pasco County and graduated from River Ridge High School. We love spending time in the great outdoors and being with family and friends. My daughter Eva is a flight attendant, my husband and I are empty nesters!
As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors: teachers, students and parents, is excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. My door is always open, and I welcome your input.
I am so excited to return to Fox Hollow! I am Trisha Iarussi, your Assistant Principal and have worked in Pasco County Schools for 20 years. Prior to Pasco, I worked one year in Broward County just after marrying my husband and moving to Florida from Missouri. I started my journey in Pasco as an ESE Teacher and then moved into a coaching role. Becoming an instructional coach brought me to Fox Hollow. Shortly after that I became an administrator and have been ever since. I love working closely with students, families, and our staff to build lasting relationships to help move our students forward in a positive direction.
My family is made up of my husband, myself, and our beautiful daughter. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and are excited for our daughter to begin dual enrollment classes this semester. My husband recently retired from 28 years in the Navy and now works for Hernando County as a Firefighter/Paramedic. In our free time we enjoy playing games with friends and family, watching the sunset, and doing projects around our home.
I believe families are critical to our progress as a school and appreciate your trust and partnership in growing our leaders. Thank you for the opportunity to connect and make this year the best yet!
